• SWISS ROAD CYCLING WEEK

A seven-day road-cycling experience based in Lucerne, Central Switzerland for experienced, suitably fit riders. The week combines challenging Alpine routes, two-guide support and a relaxed shared group-house experience. This is not a beginner cycling holiday.

DURATION AND GROUP

7 days / 6 nights. Maximum 16 guests with two guides or support leaders. Routes may be divided into full-route and shorter-route groups when required.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Monday is a flexible arrival day. Included pickup from Zürich Airport or Lucerne railway station is coordinated around confirmed flight or train details between 08:00 and 20:00. Normal luggage and one road bike or bike box per guest are included. Morning arrival is recommended; guests arriving early may join an optional Monday ride.

Sunday is a flexible departure day with included transfer to Zürich Airport or Lucerne railway station between 08:00 and 20:00. A final ride is offered when departure timing allows. Early departure does not create a partial refund. Transfers outside the stated window require prior agreement and may cost extra.

RIDING LEVEL

Full routes are approximately 80–150 km. Two or three hardest days may involve 3,000–5,000 metres of cumulative climbing. A guided shorter option is available, but the hardest shorter day may still involve approximately 90 km and up to 2,500 metres of climbing.

Guests must be experienced road cyclists, confident with Alpine descents, traffic and group riding, and able to complete at least the shorter-route level on consecutive days. Guests who cannot confirm this level must consult before booking. Routes may change for safety, weather or group conditions.

PRICE AND BICYCLE

CHF 1,600 per person. Guests normally bring their own serviced, roadworthy road bike. Road-bike rental is not included and is arranged by advance consultation at additional cost. Rental requests should be submitted at least 14 days before arrival.

ACCOMMODATION

Six nights in a shared group house in Central Switzerland, generally within practical reach of Lucerne. Bedrooms contain approximately 2–6 beds. Room preferences are subject to availability. The exact house is communicated before arrival. No private-room package is currently offered.

• Water refills, electrolyte drink, fruit and basic energy-bar snacks during guided rides

• Two-guide or support-leader structure for the group

• Shared floor pump, basic roadside tools, first-aid equipment and emergency support

• Arrival and departure transfers as described

NOT INCLUDED

• Road bike or bike rental

• Lunches, café purchases, alcohol, personal supplements and brand-specific sports nutrition

• Replacement parts and major mechanical repairs

• Personal cycling clothing, shoes, pedals, helmet, water bottles, bike-specific tools, charging equipment and personal items

Helmet use is mandatory. Bring-your-own-bike guests must arrive with a serviced road bike and at least one compatible spare tube or repair solution.

BOOKING

Online booking closes seven days before arrival. Rental requests require at least 14 days. Later requests are consultation-only and subject to availability. Existing booking terms and live cancellation settings apply.
